Do You Have Any Comments:
Zumi is a happy little boy. He is the joy of our lives. He loves to run with us and is always up for a game. He is incredibly well socialized, loving people, dogs, and even cats! He's smart as a whip and -determined-! This sometimes gets him into trouble, but generally he's very well behaved. He's always making us laugh and smile. He is so handsome; he has admirers wherever we go! We absolutely adore our little guy. Thank you for him!
Well, we clipped Kazumi to Zumi and he responds really well to that name. He has opened up so much since Saturday morning! He runs and plays and I even heard him "talking" to his ball this morning. He does excellent in the crate at night (we just brush our teeth, read our scriptures, and about 5 feet away right after we put him in and it seems to work better than putting him in then going to bed straight away) and when he whines (in the crate or out) we know he needs to go potty. He was terrified of our partying neighbors on Saturday night, but we had 3 friends over on Sunday and after a few hours he was warmed up to them. Then yesterday I took him to the vet (healthy boy, though the vet predicts he'll stay under 20 pounds his whole life) and he was walking up to people all on his own. Some dogs came in and he wanted to play with them so badly. He didn't get aggressive one bit, not even to the ones who barked at him. A friend brought her dog over yesterday and once again, he wanted to play but my friend's dog needs time warming up. He is playful and loving, yet still a typical Shiba--doesn't always listen the first time. He's picking up walking on a lead well, but we're struggling with training the basic commands like sit, stay, and come b/c he is not food motivated. Any suggestions? Other than that, he is healthy, ACTIVE, athletic, and a complete joy. We are absolutely smitten by him. Thanks again for the wonderful little guy! Here are some pics
